This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Poteli, a wishlist and purchase-planning app. It applies to the app, related support interactions, and online pages that link to this policy.
Poteli is intended for general audiences. It is not designed for children, medical decisions, financial advice, legal advice, emergency services, or regulated professional services.
Section 2. Information You Choose to Provide
The app may let you enter wishlist-related content, such as item names, estimated prices, budget notes, priority choices, cooling-off periods, and other notes you decide to record. This content is used to provide the app experience and help present your saved information back to you.
If you contact support, we may receive the contact details and message content you provide so we can respond to your request.
Section 3. App, Device, and Platform Information
We may process basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app. This may include device type, operating system version, app version, crash or diagnostic information, language settings, and general usage events.
Apple and the App Store may process purchase, download, refund, and device-related information under their own policies. We do not control Apple’s separate processing of App Store transactions.
Section 4. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to operate app features, maintain local and online services, display saved wishlist information, troubleshoot errors, support purchase-related flows, respond to support requests, and protect the app from misuse.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand app performance and improve reliability, provided it is not used to identify you.
Section 5. Service Providers and Limited Sharing
We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, diagnostics, messaging, customer support, payment validation, or similar operational needs. These providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide services to us or to comply with law.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or asset sale.
Section 6. Purchases
Poteli may offer one-time in-app purchases through the App Store. Apple handles the payment transaction. We may receive limited purchase status information, such as product identifiers, transaction status, and receipt or validation data, to deliver purchased app content or features.
Section 7. Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Wishlist entries and related records may remain available until you delete them, reset the app, or otherwise remove them through available controls.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 8. Your Choices and Requests
You may choose what wishlist content to enter and may update or remove content using available app controls. You can also manage App Store purchases, refunds, and platform privacy settings through Apple’s tools.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of certain personal information. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
Section 9. International Processing
The app and related services may be operated from different countries. If information is transferred or processed outside your region, we take steps intended to support appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
Section 10. Updates and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date, and continued use of the app after an update means the revised policy applies.
